Deanna Ballard

Deanna Ballard is a wife, mother, business woman, speaker and Co-founder of My World Learning. She has prior experience as an educator in the public school system and tutoring disadvantaged children with developmental challenges.

My World Learning is a company born from passion and the necessity to create entertaining, learning based tools for her son Zachary, who is diagnosed with Autism. Deanna continues to fight to get past the devastation of the Autism diagnosis to reconnect her little boy to his family and to the world around him. In the last 3 years, Zachary has made tremendous improvements in both his vocabulary and social skills, and is a beacon of hope for parents with newly diagnosed children. Deanna’s struggles are not unique to the Autism community, but her approach is. In addition, she is home schooling her 7 year old daughter, Makenna.

Deanna currently participates in the Sacramento Chapter of Families for Early Autism Treatments Biomedical Group. Deanna currently lives in Granite Bay, California, with her husband Rob of 10 years and their two children Makenna and Zachary. Graduating with honors, Deanna holds a Bachelors Degree in Psychology from California State University, Sacramento. After college, Deanna worked as a substitute teacher and has also tutored children with learning delay. She left a successful career in Real Estate to effectively run her son’s therapy program as well as oversee operations and develop her company, My World Learning.

In addition to recovering her little boy, Deanna’s main focus is on growing My World Learning to a global level in the effort to reach every parent and child affected by developmental challenges.
